Bellflower : Committee Posts to Be Filled
The Bellflower City Council will be appointing people to four city commissions and two committees at Monday’s council meeting, city officials announced this week. The appointments to 34 posts are filled every two years after City Council elections, said Nelson E. Oliva, a city spokesman.
Five commissioners will be named each to the Planning, Parks and Recreation, Traffic and Safety, and Human Services commissions, Oliva said, and seven members will be appointed each to the city’s Public Transit Advisory and Bellflower Downtown Overlay committees.
Oliva said names of the appointees will be announced at the meeting.
