Leisure Technology, developer of Leisure Village Ocean Hills in Oceanside, and adult communities in New Jersey, New York, California and Illinois, has formed a new division to take advantage of the burgeoning south Florida housing market.

The firm’s Florida Atlantic Division, based in Coral Springs and headed by Carl Palmisciano, will develop adult communities and single-family projects in Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin and other counties on the Atlantic coast of Florida, according to Michael L. Tenzer, chairman and chief executive officer of the Los Angeles-based firm.

Leisure Technology will also expand its Gulf Coast Florida operations from its Ft. Myers-based Gulf Division, headed by Ray Anderson, Tenzer said.
