Blaming Defense Department budget reductions, Titan Corp. reported a sharp drop in profit on increased revenue for the first quarter ended March 31. The San Diego-based defense electronics company reported a $181,000 profit on $29.8 million in revenue, compared to a $1.3 million profit on $25.2 million in sales for the same quarter last year.
