Iranians go the polls today in a second round of voting for the 270-seat Majlis, or Parliament, with hard-line radicals and Muslim extremists expected to widen their gains at the expense of conservatives. In the first round of voting April 8, when 188 seats were decided, no faction won a clear majority. But the radicals, who advocate more state control of the war-damaged economy, made sizable gains.
