Three men with Lebanese passports were caught while trying to get rid of weapons after attacks in Sudan that killed seven people and wounded 21, including three Americans, police said. The attacks occurred Sunday night at the Acropolis Hotel and nearby Sudan Club. Sudanese sources said that the U.S. Embassy has advised Americans not to leave their homes and that American clubs in Khartoum have been closed. A police statement said the suspects, while carrying Lebanese passports, were dressed in the traditional white robes of the Sudanese. It added that they had come to Sudan masquerading as Lebanese businessmen.
