Bellflower : Recreation Director Resigns

Share

Candice Kosmand, Bellflower parks and recreation director, has announced that she is resigning to accept a similar position with the City of Pacifica, a small each community near San Francisco. Kosmand’s resignation will be effective June 3, city officials said.

Kosmand said she was invited to apply for the new position by a recruiting agent earlier this year. She was chosen from 120 candidates.

“It’s a new opportunity and a new challenge,” said Kosmand, whose family lives in the Bay area. She said she and her fiance have been considering moving to Northern California “for some time. All the elements fit together well.”
