A man who says he sympathizes with white supremacists was indicted today by a federal grand jury on a charge that he threatened to kill black presidential candidate Jesse Jackson.

Londell Williams, 30, of Washington, Mo., was named in all four counts of the indictment. His wife, Tammy, 27, was named in three of the counts, but she was not accused of being involved in the threat on Jackson’s life. The couple are charged with conspiring to kill Jackson, threatening an informer and possessing an automatic rifle, authorities said. Federal agents announced Tuesday that they arrested the couple Friday at their apartment in rural eastern Missouri.
