Dr. John Burnham has been appointed medical director of the 78-bed hospital that Community Psychiatric Centers is building next to its corporate headquarters in Laguna Hills. The hospital is scheduled to open in September to treat adults and adolescents with emotional, mental and chemical dependency problems. Burnham was formerly medical director of mental heath services at South Coast Medical Center in South Laguna.
