Holden-Day Sells Science Publication

Holden-Day Inc. of Oakland has sold one of its publications to a division of Reed Publishing Inc., according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Holden-Day said it sold the publishing rights of its scientific journal, Steroids--Structure, Function & Regulation, for about $389,040 to Butterworth Publishers.
