MOSCOW —
President Reagan’s visit to Moscow has prompted more than half of the Muscovites to change their minds about him, according to an opinion poll published Wednesday.
The poll, conducted by the Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Social Research, showed that 52.2% of those questioned had changed their opinion of Reagan for the better.
Only 4.2% had a lower opinion of him while 34.6% had not changed their view. The remainder declined to comment.
The poll was published by the weekly Moscow News.
