At Country Wide Transport Services, Frank Bettencourt has become executive vice president, and John Koons has been named vice president and chief financial officer. Bettencourt replaces C. J. Holloway, an executive vice president and director, who recently resigned. Holloway’s replacement on the board has not been named. Koons replaces Allen K. Shatto, who recently resigned as vice president-finance.

Bettencourt, 39, previously was president of Wingate/Taylor-Maid Transportation, a unit of Burlington Northern Motor Carriers. Koons, 35, had been vice president-sales and marketing of Wingate/Taylor-Maid Transportation.
