Conductor Keith Clark, the Troubled Pacific Symphony and Their Angry Fans

Share

I’ve heard and read enough concerning the ineptitude of Keith Clark as conductor of the Pacific Symphony.

As a former board member and a damned hard-working fund-raiser for the symphony because I believed and believe in Keith Clark’s musical virtuosity, I would be remiss were I not to express my utter disgust at the way Keith is being treated by certain members of our community.

With respect to the Pacific Symphony’s existing board, I frankly question its qualifications and ability to critique any music. I truly wonder how many of the present board members are even capable of distinguishing an A-flat from a Big Mac.

I will forever be grateful to Keith for his great musical contributions to our community. Without his tireless endeavors in the face of insurmountable obstacles, there would be no Pacific Symphony.
