Bert Rigby, You’re a Fool! (Lorimar/Clear). Shooting in England and L.A. Carl Reiner pens and directs a tale of an English coal miner who leaves his sweetie behind to pursue fame and fortune in a traveling amateur contest. His attempts at stardom end up a fiasco, but ultimately he becomes a hero as he winds up drawing investors to the brewery of his economically starved hometown. Producer George Shapiro.
