Relatively speaking: Domenica Scorsese, director Martin’s 12-year-old daughter, makes her screen debut in “Zoe,” Francis Coppola’s segment of Touchstone’s “New York Stories.” Written by Coppola and his teen-age daughter, Sofia, it centers on the privileged daughter of eccentric, separated parents. Giancarlo Giannini plays her father, Talia Shire--Coppola’s sister--her jet-setting mother. Woody Allen has filmed his segment. . . . Bruce Willis, smarting from the critical response to “Sunset,” is negotiating to play a key support role in Norman Jewison’s “In Country,” filming in Kentucky next month. Willis would play a Vietnam vet, the uncle of Emily Lloyd, a young girl who rediscovers her late father through a series of his letters.

Tom Berenger and Charlie Sheen become boys of summer in “Major League,” which David S. Ward wrote and directs for Mirage Productions. They’ll be the losingest Cleveland Indians about to be revived by ragtag players. . . . Sources tell us that Robert Redford has at least three projects pending at United Artists: An adaptation of Pat Conroy’s “Prince of Tides,” to be directed by Luis Mandoki (“Gaby”); “The Springs,” Robert Towne’s adaptation of an unfinished Raymond Chandler Philip Marlowe yarn, Peter Weir to direct; and Redford could star in “Presumed Innocent,” Scott Turow’s gripping best seller about a prosecuting attorney who’s indicted for the murder he’s investigating.

Chloe Webb (“Sid and Nancy’s” Nancy) and Kelly Preston join Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito as sisters in director Ivan Reitman’s “Twins.” . . . Glenne Headly is the object of affection and a sizable wager between rival con men Michael Caine and Steve Martin in Orion’s “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.” . . . Jason Patric (“Lost Boys”) just signed with Columbia to develop future projects at the studio. . . . Comedian Jackie Gayle joins the cast of “Bert Rigby, You’re a Fool” as an old-time, big-time Hollywood producer married to Anne Bancroft.
