Gillette Co. had discussions with at least two potential suitors this year and one in 1987, even though it told stockholders during a proxy fight that no one was interested in buying the company, New York-based investment firm Coniston Group charged in court documents. Gillette admitted in court documents that it held discussions with one company in September, 1987, and others this year but denied they involved talk of a possible takeover. The trial in the matter is scheduled to start Monday.
