THE OUTDOORS : Bass Back as Spring Lull Ends

Fishing for largemouth bass has improved as fish in the 10-pound class have become active after a short springtime lull.

At Riverside County’s Vail Lake, John Hahn of Palm Springs caught a 10-pound 15-ounce largemouth, and Phillip Imamura of Cerritos landed one weighing 9 pounds 13 ounces. Similar catches were reported from San Diego to Santa Barbara County.
