After months of bad news, the troubled New York ad firm Lord, Geller, Federico, Einstein Inc. finally had a bit of good news. The agency’s oldest client, Hennessy Cognac, announced that after a lengthy agency review, it was keeping its $8-million account at Lord, Geller. Hennessy was the ad firm’s first client nearly 20 years ago. The news follows the announcement late last week by Lord, Geller’s biggest client, International Business Machines Corp., that it was putting its $100-million account up for review.
