Fire at Chevron Refinery in Texas Is Extinguished

PORT ARTHUR, Tex. —
A fire at a Chevron refinery was extinguished Thursday after burning for nearly 20 hours following an explosion, authorities said. The fire began Wednesday morning in a pump station at the refinery west of Port Arthur and spread to some small storage tanks.
