8 Homes Destroyed When Crater Forms in Yugoslavia

BELGRADE, Yugoslavia —
Eight homes were destroyed in the Bosnian mining town of Tuzla when a 65-foot-wide hole opened beneath them and escaping gas caught fire, a newspaper reported Thursday.
No injuries were reported and authorities quickly put out the fire.
