Defending champion Ayako Okamoto and Juli Inkster each shot a five-under-par 67 Friday to share a one-stroke lead in the first round of the $300,000 Lady Keystone Open golf tournament at Hershey, Pa.

Okamoto, playing in her first tournament after taking several weeks off the Ladies Professsional Golf Assn. tour, sank a 25-foot putt on the second hole for her first birdie, then added four more birdies in her bogey-free round.

Inkster, who collapsed from the heat during a practice round Tuesday, had three birdies during one stretch of four holes.

Colleen Walker was tied with five other players at 68.

Tied with Walker were Connie Chillemi, Laurie Rinker, Betsy King, Shirley Furlong and Marci Bozarth.

Australian Bruce Devlin shot a six-under-par 66 for the first-round lead in the $350,000 Northville Invitational senior tournament at the Meadow Brook Club in Jericho, N.Y.

The 50-year-old Devlin, who joined the PGA Seniors Tour last year after spending the previous 5 1/2 years constructing golf courses, had seven birdies against a lone bogey.

His 12-foot birdie putt on the 157-yard, par-3 18th hole gave him a one-stroke edge over Harold Henning and Bobby Nichols.
