Mayor J. Tilman Williams will lead ground-breaking ceremonies Monday for a new 27,000-square-foot park in the Buena Clinton neighborhood of Garden Grove. The $200,000 park, which will be constructed on Keel Avenue between Buena and Clinton streets, is expected to be completed in September. Construction of the park is the third phase of the city’s master plan to improve Buena Clinton, considered one of the county’s worst slums.
