COMMENCEMENT 1988
UC Riverside held its 34th commencement Sunday on the South Tower Mall.More than 750 degrees were awarded, including 100 master’s degrees and 50 doctoral degrees. Yori Wada, a UC regent, delivered the commencement address. Cal State San Bernardino held its 22nd commencement Saturday. More than 1,200 undergraduatedegrees and 350 master’s degrees were awarded. Herbert L. Carter, executive vice chancellor of administration for the CSU system, gave the commencement address. OTHER GRADUATIONS:Woodbury University held graduation ceremonies Saturday for the first time at its new Burbank campus. Maurice Mann, chairman and chief executive officer of the Pacific Stock Exchange, delivered the commencement address. Degrees were conferred on 158 students, including 36 who received master’s degrees. Mann was awarded an honorary degree.
