On June 14, the governor signed into law a bill which would add “source of payment for prenatal care and delivery” to the list of the recorded items on the confidential portion of a birth certificate.
Having had three children myself, it seems that how I paid for prenatal care and delivery is no one’s business but mine and the hospitals and doctors involved.
AB 1192 seems to be a complete invasion of privacy.
