National Hockey League and Soviet hockey teams will play 14 games next season under a plan agreed to by the league and Soviet ice hockey officials, according to the Toronto Sun.
The Soviets will also give permission for the New Jersey Devils to sign defenseman Vyacheslav Fetisov of the Soviet national team and Moscow Central Red Army, the report said.
