Attention, Chick: Enough Backslapping
It is really too bad that those of us who occasionally listen to a Laker game on the radio must once again be subjected to the self-announced praises of “This is the world champion Laker network” for another year.
When a person or team achieves generally recognized acclaim in some field of endeavor, the people involved do not constantly refer to their esteemed status on every possible instance or occasion. True class always stands out, without a constant reminder of their credentials.
