USC Names Clark New Strength Coach

Mike Clark, the strength and conditioning coach at the University of Oregon for the past six years, was named to that position at USC Friday. Clark, 33, replaces Jerry Simmons, who left USC after five years to take a similar job with the New England Patriots of the National Football League.
Clark also was the strength and conditioning coach at Kansas for a year and at Wyoming for a year before going to Oregon.
