Sutro & Co., San Francisco, has named Margaret B. McGeorge and Therese M. Murphy vice presidents. McGeorge, 34, previously was a research analysts at Branch, Cabell & Co. in Richmond, Va. Murphy, 29, previously was a securities analyst with the Technology Group at Kidder, Peabody & Co. in the firm’s San Francisco office.
