Broker Acquires 7.5% of Cooper Life Sciences

New York City investor Moses Marx has acquired 7.5%, or 162,508 common shares, of Cooper Life Sciences Inc. of Santa Clara, Calif., as an investment, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

A securities broker with United Equities Co., Marx said he may seek representation on Cooper Life’s board. Marx paid a total of $3.2 million for his shares, which he has acquired since 1985, according to the filing.
