New S. Korean Judges

SEOUL —
South Korean President Roh Tae Woo on Friday approved the appointment of nine new Supreme Court judges, including four private lawyers critical of the government.
The judges were recommended by new Chief Justice Lee Il Kyu, a Roh nominee whose appointment won overwhelming parliamentary approval Tuesday.
