Demand for Grads Up, UC Berkeley Reports

BERKELEY —
The placement office at the University of California says there’s a strong market for many graduates at the Berkeley campus.
Demand is up this year in accounting, business consulting, elementary school teaching, librarianship and hazardous waste management, the university said.
Overall, 527 companies recruited last spring, up almost 6% from a year earlier.
