Jerry A. St. Dennis, executive vice president, chief financial officer and chief economist of CalFed Inc., has been elected to the firm’s board. St. Dennis succeeds Frederick T. Burrill, president emeritus of California Federal Savings and Loan Assn., CalFed’s principal subsidiary, who recently reached the board’s mandatory retirement age.
