The State : 2 Men Burned in Plane Crash
A single-engine plane being demonstrated to a prospective buyer crashed after it struck two utility poles and narrowly missed a home. The plane burst into flames and fell to earth about a block southwest of the runway at Compton Airport. Residents helped two men whose clothing was afire to escape, police said. A third was thrown clear. They were rushed to a hospital where one man was identified as Jack Dunlap. He and an unidentified man were in very critical condition with burns over their entire bodies, according to a hospital spokesman. The third man, Michael Bellio, 46, was shaken up. All three are believed to be from San Diego County, officers said.
