You remember those plans of ABC’s to re-produce 13 episodes of “Mission: Impossible” in Australia? The network confirmed the rumors Wednesday, saying the 13 shows, to be shot from existing scripts but with a new cast, wardrobe and production values, will start production Down Under in September--far too late for the beginning of the season, but in time for November sweeps periods. The old scripts will be used because the 19-week-old writers strike effectively prevents new ones from being produced.
