Maxicare Health Plans Inc. and HealthCare Corp. of America announced that they have terminated negotiations for the sale of Maxicare Maryland L.P. to HealthCare Corp . . . James Lennane, chairman of Systems Integrators Inc., said he may withdraw his $7.25-a-share offer if the Sacramento-based company accepts a higher bid, according to an SEC filing . . . El Segundo-based Computer Sciences Corp. said a joint venture it heads has won an $84-million Navy contract, not including award fee, for the operation and maintenance of the Pacific missile range facility at Barking Sands, Hawaii . . . Hilton Hotels Corp. of Beverly Hills said it expects to report a second-quarter profit of about 85 cents a share, up 16% from last year’s 70 cents . . . Midland, Mich.-based Dow Chemical Co. increased its quarterly common stock dividend to 70 cents a share from 60 cents, payable Oct. 28 to shareholders of record Sept. 30 . . . The national office vacancy rates for metropolitan areas dropped 0.6% to a rate of 19.8% in the second quarter, extending a two-year decline to the lowest level in three years, Coldwell Banker said . . .
