A San Diego woman was killed Wednesday morning in a traffic accident involving four vehicles in Clairemont, San Diego police said.
Zermina Hassani, 38, of Kearny Mesa was driving north on Mt. Alifan Drive at about 11 a.m. when an eastbound truck on Balboa Avenue ran a red light and pushed her car into the intersection, according to police spokesman David Cohen. Hassani’s car then collided with two other cars in the left-turn lane. No one else was injured, Cohen said.
Hassani was taken to Sharp Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. No charges have been filed, but the investigation is continuing, Cohen said.
