Woodcrest Development Inc.’s Orange County division said it bought 65 acres in Yorba Linda and will build 175 homes. . . . Akins Development Co. in Newport Beach said it bought 34 acres of Irvine Co. land in Tustin and plans to build 165 homes in January with the William Lyon Co., also of Newport Beach, its partner in the joint venture. . . . Sanderson J. Ray Construction in Irvine bought 4 acres at Riverside Freeway Industrial Park in Anaheim from traffic signal manufacturer Econolite for $1.8 million and plans to build three industrial buildings for a total of 100,000 square feet. . . . Nexus USA, an Irvine developer, said it will move its corporate headquarters to the site of former AirCal headquarters, which Nexus just bought, on Birch Street in Newport Beach. . . . Nolte & Associates, a San Jose civil engineering firm, opened an Orange County office in Mission Viejo.
