United Technologies Corp.’s earnings climbed 26% to $196.2 million in the second quarter. The Hartford, Conn., company said revenue rose 5% to $4.5 billion. A broad-based designer and manufacturer of high-tech products, the company noted that Otis elevators and UT Automotive contributed significantly to second-quarter results.
