Archive reported a hefty 41% increase in net income for its third quarter ended June 24. The Costa Mesa-based manufacturer of computer tape drives said net income increased to $2.8 million, from $2 million in the year-earlier quarter. Revenue rose 31% to $32 million from $24.3 million a year ago. For its latest nine months, Archive’s net income soared 93% to $7.3 million from $3.8 million. Revenue rose 36% to $86.3 million from $63.6 million a year ago.
