First baseman Albert Kolesar slugged a two-run double with two out in the bottom of the eighth inning to spark a three-run rally and give the Valley Dodgers a 4-3 victory over the Chicago White Sox Rookies in a semipro baseball game Tuesday at Cal State Northridge.

The Valley Dodgers (27-9) trailed, 3-2, when Kolesar doubled home the tying and go-ahead runs to make a winner of right-hander Tim Quintanilla (4-2). Quintanilla pitched two innings of no-hit relief.

Ted Higgins and Randy Thompson each doubled for the Dodgers. Starting pitcher Dan Penner allowed two runs--one earned--in four innings, striking out four and walking two. Reliever Sean Casey pitched three innings and allowed one run on two hits.
