Wet Seal, the Irvine-based retailer of junior women’s fashions, is about to open its 53rd store at the Oaks Mall in Thousand Oaks on Aug. 1. The store is 5,300 square feet.
By the end of August, Wet Seal plans to open another six stores, the company has announced. The new stores will be in Walnut Creek, Corte Madera, Stockton, Chico and Cupertino.
Wet Seal has targeted at least seven more Wet Seal locations to open by the end of this year.
