Late playwright Donald Driver, who wrote “A Walk Out of Water,” now at the Gaslamp Quarter Theatre’s Hahn Cosmopolitan Theatre, died of AIDS last month. In his memory, the Gaslamp will give two tickets to the play to anyone who contributes $50 or more to San Diego Walks for Life, an organization that helps those with AIDS, by Aug. 13. The cast of “A Walk Out of Water” will also participate in a 10K walkathon around Harbor Island for the San Diego Walks for Life on Aug. 27.
