Kraft Inc.’s profit skyrocketed to $785.2 million for the second quarter, nearly seven times higher than a year ago. The results for the Glenview, Ill., food and consumer products firm included a gain of $685.6 million from the sale of its Duracell battery unit. Revenue was up 13% to $2.7 billion.
