Pfizer Inc. said second-quarter net earnings rose 21% to $213.1 million from a year ago. Sales rose to $1.336 billion, up 9%. New York-based Pfizer said sales rose in all five of its business segments, including health care, up 9%; agriculture, up 13%; consumer products, up 12%; materials science, up 8%, and specialty chemicals, up 4%.
