Strings Lose to Heat at Charlotte, 30-14

Elna Reinach, the league’s most valuable player last season, led the Charlotte Heat to a 30-14 TeamTennis victory over the Los Angeles Strings Friday night at Charlotte, N.C.
Reinach, a native of South Africa, won her singles match and also scored in doubles and mixed doubles.
The league-leading Heat is 8-1, while the Strings fell to 3-6. Tonight, the Strings will play at New Jersey.
