30 Men Seized in Prostitute ‘Sting’
Thirty men were arrested Friday night and early Saturday morning for allegedly soliciting sex from undercover officers posing as prostitutes, Santa Ana police said Saturday.
The special police team combatting prostitution conducted a “john program” on Harbor Boulevard in Santa Ana between 8 p.m. Friday and 2 a.m. Saturday, Sgt. Joe Esther said.
Officers also confiscated 26 vehicles belonging to the suspects, Esther said. The suspects were able to claim their vehicles Saturday after paying a towing fee, he said.
