Local News in Brief : Dana Point : New Ballet Group Plans Performance

Members of the Coast Ballet Theatre, a new group formed by the merger of Ballet Repertory Theatre and the Emerson Dance Theatre, will perform Saturday in the gazebo area of The Pavilion restaurant and shopping center at Dana Point Harbor.

The show will include original works choreographed by Lawrence and Sarma Rosenberg, and will feature Melissa Allen and Lawrence Rosenberg, both of whom performed with the American Ballet Theatre under Mikhail Baryshnikov.

Tickets for the inaugural fund-raiser, scheduled for 3 to 6 p.m., are $12. The Pavilion is at Street of the Golden Lantern and Dana Point Harbor Street.
