Centenarians

The beauty with which David Larsen presented the subject of centenarians is to be highly commended (“Surprise of the Century,” July 6). His article has outlined in a heartfelt and gracious way the direction in which we, as a nation, will be moving in the next decade or so.

When reading about Karen Carter and the others, and hearing her words of hope and faith, one can really look into the morrow and realize the great strength of the human soul.
