Nine of the injuries occurred in traffic accidents Sunday with cars going out of control on busy highways flooded by heavy rain and hail, a police spokesman said. Several people, including two children, were injured by falling trees and roof tiles. Firemen answered 700 calls in Munich, the worst affected area, during the two -hour freak storm there. Nineteen streets were declared impassable, 300 sets of traffic lights were damaged and about 60 traffic accidents were recorded.
