Strings Lose to Portland

The Los Angeles Strings were eliminated from TeamTennis playoff contention Tuesday night when they lost to the Portland Panthers, 25-21, in front of 1,374 in the Forum for their sixth straight loss.
Andy Kohlberg and Cynthia MacGregor won the decisive mixed doubles set, 6-0, to lead Portland over the Strings (3-9).
