St. Louis-based Ralston Purina Co. said it has agreed to sell its Van Camp Seafood division to a group of investors led by PT Mantrust, a privately held Indonesian concern. The price was not disclosed. Van Camp Seafood markets canned tuna and salmon products under the Chicken of the Sea label and had sales of $290 million last year. Van Camp operates tuna processing canneries in Puerto Rico and American Samoa and has can manufacturing subsidiaries in San Diego and Puerto Rico.
